Certified Microplastic-Free™ is committed to a website that everyone can use, including people who rely on assistive technology.
Our standard
This site is built to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. In practice, that includes:
- Semantic page structure with a logical heading order and landmark regions
- A skip link on every page for keyboard users
- Text alternatives for images and labels for every form control
- Full keyboard operability, including menus and the certificate lookup
- Color contrast that meets or exceeds AA requirements
- Status messages announced to screen readers where content updates dynamically
